The Orchestra is fully inclusive. There is no audition process to gain entry, regardless of ability or age. The educators believe in “Music has a power of forming the character, and should therefore be introduced into the education of the young." This is one of the apartments I had while teaching in Guangzhou, China. The location was in Panyu which was pretty much the suburbs, but it was that out-of-the-way location that allowed me to have a 2 bedroom place all to myself. Also, while this apartment was provided by the school, the rent was probably around 3000rmb/month for that area, not bad really.
